Official Contest Rules for “TIME IS MONEY” CONTRIBUTOR SWEEPSTAKES

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Contest is open for Canadian Residents ONLY.

2. Contest runs from December 08, 2009 to February 15, 2010 at Midnight, CST.

3. Contest is open to persons who have reached the age of majority in their Province of residence, are an approved contributor on LIV interactive (based on terms and conditions outlined on the LIV interactive website and below in Appendix A., are an interactive professional working in the interactive digital new media industry or working with interactive online content in your role with at least 35% interactive content being published within your business.

4. How to enter and get entries into the sweepstakes: There are two ways of collecting sweepstakes entries:

I. Become a Contributor on LIV interactive:

a. If you are NOT a current contributor for LIV interactive, you will need to submit your request to be a contributor. As a contributor you must be a professional working in the interactive digital media industry and a part of producing online content in one of the categories that LIV interactive promotes on the website; Business, Design, Development, Content or Community. If you fit the description above, you will be approved as a contributor.
b. For every NEW contributor who signs up between December 8, 2009 and February 15 2010 you will receive an automatic entry into the sweepstakes.
c. For every approved article that is posted on the LIV interactive website between December 8, 2009 and February 15 2010, that contributor will also receive an entry into the sweepstakes.
d.If you do not want to be a contributor on LIV interactive but would like to be part of our mailing list, you can fill out our mailing list form in the contest area using in the subject line *Time Is Money Mailing List, and be part of our mailing list for a maximum if one (1) entry into the contest per person per email address and per household.

e.*NOTE: Approved Contributors and Approved Articles are up to the discretion to LIV interactive. Content is pending on the subject and the relevance in the industry. To date LIV interactive has only rejected two posts. Read Appendix A to get more information on what to post and for more information email us at support@livinteractive.com between December 8, 2009 and February 15 2010, and we will email you more information.
g. Limit of one (1) entry per contributor per day, unless in the case you are new approved contributor and you post an article the same day of approval you will receive two (2) entries into the sweepstakes.
e. *NOTE: Approved Contributors and Approved Articles are up to the discretion to LIV interactive. Content is pending on the subject and the relevance in the industry. Read Appendix B to get more information on what to post and for more information email us at support@livinteractive.com between December 8, 2009 and February 15 2010, and we will email you more information.
f. *NOTE: If you sign up in our mailing list area then decide to become a contributor your one (1) entry provided by joining our mailing list will be VOID.

II.Sign up on the LIV interactive Mailing List:

a.If you do not want to become a contributor, or if your request to become a contributor is for whatever reason denied, you can sign up for the LIV interactive mailing list and receive ONE (1) entry into the sweepstakes.
b. *Note: You must sign up for the mailing list in the *LIV Promotions* section where the online form exists between December 8, 2009 and February 15 2010 and remain in the mailing list for the minimum of 12 months after signing up.
c. You will only be able to sign up once (1 time).
d. *Limit of one (1) entry per mailing list sign up per day, per email address per household.
e. *NOTE: If you sign up in our mailing list area then decide to become a contributor your one (1) entry provided by joining our mailing list will be VOID.
All entries become property of LIV interactive and will not be returned.


5. Prizes: There are three (3) prizes available to be won in this sweepstakes: two (2) $50 Apple™ iTunes® Gift Cards and one (1) $25 Apple™ iTunes® Gift Card.

i) Terms: There will be ONE (1) prize available per contributor; therefore only one person can win ONE (1) gift card.

6. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. No prize substitutions permitted.

7. Sweepstake Draw: There will be three (3) random draws conducted to select three (3) winners of the Contributors Sweepstakes. The draw to declare the two (2) $50.00 sweepstakes prizes will be drawn first, with the one (1) $25.00 sweepstakes prize being drawn last. Draw will be made in Winnipeg, Manitoba on or around February 28, 2010 by 5:00PM CST.

8.Selected winners will be contacted by the email address tied to their profile (as a contributor), and required to claim their winning prize within 10 days by replying back to the email sent. Winners must also acknowledge in that email that they are declaring themselves as a winner of one (1) of the Apple™ iTunes® Gift Cards, and will then provide their contact information in the form of their mailing address and other related contact information. If the winner fails to return the email confirming their win within ten (10) business days, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate entrant may be selected.

9. The chances of an eligible entry being selected are dependent on the total number of new contributors signing up to LIV interactive and the number of posts each contributor posts, and the number of people who sign up for the LIV interactive mailing list.

10. This contest is subject to all federal and provincial laws and regulations.

11. By entering the contest, entrant agrees to be bound by these official rules and by the decisions of the contest judging organization which shall be final and binding on all matters relating to this contest.

12. By entering this draw, the winner agrees to the use by LIV interactive of his/her name, address, city, province and/or photographs, videotape or any likeness for advertising and publicity purposes for this or similar promotions and to the use of statements and hereby grants to LIV interactive any and all rights to said use without further compensation. LIV interactive will post the winners on the website, and a link to their profile in the website. LIV interactive will not post any contact information aside from what is already being displayed in the website.

13. LIV interactive reserves the right to change or withdraw this offer any time and for any reason.

14. LIV interactive will not be responsible for contributors who are not approved to become contributors on LIV interactive, rejected posts that don’t follow the rule or entries for Internet, computer and other technical errors.


Appendix A.

1. LIV interactive promotes professionals with experience leading in the interactive digital media industry. Those with expertise in a variety of roles within this industry market.

2. LIV interactive, while in its infancy stage, is not accepting students or out of industry professionals only due to this website being an educational property until we have grown large enough to add in the areas that will expand on the demand.

3. LIV interactive believe everyone has valuable content to post, we just can’t get to it all right now so applications requesting to be a contributor will not all be accepted as so and this is up to the discretion of LIV interactive.

4. Below are general guidelines to posting content:

  • LIV interactive delivers itself as an educational resource, which should be reflected in the tone, content and writing style of posts. Giving EXPERT advice and offering valuable tips and tricks will set each contributor apart, initiating conversations that benefit both the contributors and readers.
  • LIV interactive also gives kudos to those who have interesting, different and popular content to share. In this case, we will reward contributors daily and weekly with ‘Feature Articles’. (You can also request this – we are open to just about anything.)
  • What To Refrain From In Your Posts

    1. We ask that direct promotion of a project or your business NOT be in your posts. Rather, you may redirect users to company websites to read more on the projects or business that may be the source of the post.
